Elizabeth is an award-winning journalist and a successful fundraiser with more than 20 years of full-time fundraising experience. She has conducted million-dollar annual funds and has worked on capital campaigns ranging from $500,000 to $16 million. Her fundraising experience with volunteers includes CEOs of some of the largest companies in the nation. She has written more than 20 cases for support, as well as numerous brochures, annual reports and other publications for clients.
Elizabeth's organizational work includes Board and administrative restructuring, capacity building and strategic planning and organizational development. Recently, as a part of her consulting practice, she served as Executive Director of a global communications foundation of the United Methodist Church. During her tenure the foundation raised funds to establish 14 centers of communication across Africa and established a partnership with The United Nations Foundation, which has led to a proposed $100 million denominational campaign to combat malaria. She has a Master’s degree in Human Resource Development/Organization Development from Western Carolina University and an undergraduate degree in journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. |
